Clint Kerkman
I am the Safety Compliance Manager at Liphatech Inc. in Milwaukee. We are a Rodenticide Manufacturer. I graduated from Whitewater in 2009. Since graduating I have been in 3 very different industries—Costumes and Party Supplies, the Railroad, and now Rodenticides (Rat Poison.) I live in Franklin with my wife, dog, and 2 foster children. I enjoy being in the Safety Industry because I am a people person and enjoy the challenges and successes of this job.
Jena Lynch, CSP
Jena Lynch, CSP has more than 10 years’ experience in occupation safety and health management in various manufacturing facilities. She has earned a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health and business management and her CSP. Jena has additional education and experience in Fall Protection Competent Person, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response, ISO auditing, Mine Safety, Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis, and a variety of other safety related areas. Passionate on providing a safe and healthful workplace for all employees and creating relationships with open communication and understanding. Jena is also passionate about volunteering with the St. Vincent de Paul and actively involved with the Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and fostering of rescue dogs.
Gabriella Schwartz
I am announcing my candidacy for the ASSP Wisconsin Chapter Secretary Position. As an accomplished, results driven Safety Manager with a decade of progressive managerial experience in Manufacturing, Transportation and Distribution environments, I am confident that I can make positive contributions to the ASSP Wisconsin Chapter Board. Colleagues trust my solid leadership, communication and interpersonal skills because I establish rapport with all levels within an organization as well as outside resources such as vendors and customers for effective interactions. I have excellent technological proficiencies and a demonstrated ability to streamline operations that drive growth and increase efficiency. Currently, I am a member of the ASSP Wisconsin and Badgerland Chapters, AIHA Upper Midwest and Wisconsin Sections and Dodge County SHRM. If I am elected to the Secretary Position, I will have an exciting opportunity to strengthen my relationships with Safety Leaders, enthusiastically provide support to the organization and achieve important personal and professional growth as a young professional in Southeastern Wisconsin. Maxwell Proctor, GSP
I am currently the Safety Coordinator at Nabco Entrances Inc., a manufacturing company in Muskego, WI. Before that I graduated in August from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Safety. After graduating I also obtained my GSP certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. While attending Whitewater I held a leadership position in two separate student organizations where I acted as a secretary and regular group leader. I was acting secretary in the SSO where I was a student member for the 4 years that I was in college while also being a student member of ASSP for the same duration. Outside of school I have had two internships involving safety working with Milwaukee Public Schools, with William Fink as my mentor, and master’s Gallery Foods in Sheboygan under the direction of Paul Rutledge. Outside of that I worked with the Community Engagement Center at the University where it was my job to not only manage the building, but to also assist in scheduling events with up to 250 attendees.
Currently I am continuing education by achieving CEUs through ASSP and NSC webinars. I also achieved my OSHA 30 card in November, and I am currently studying for the STS certification exam which I intend to take either late January or early February. In the fall, I plan to continue my scholarly education by attending school for my master’s degree.
Mary Prisby, CHMM, CSP
Mary has greater than twenty years experience as a Safety, Health and Environmental professional supporting manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food ingredients, and a variety of research and development activities. Mary has provided guidance in environmental program management, process safety management, industrial safety, and industrial hygiene. Utilizing employees has been a major contributor to the success of the facilities she has worked at.
Mary is Past Administrator of the Environmental Practice Specialty, Past President of ASSP, Three Rivers Chapter Region V and several other offices
