Safety and Compliance Manager

Location Pewaukee, WI

Bevara Building Services is looking for a highly motivated and proactive Safety and Compliance Manager to join our corporate team. Bevara is a fast-growing company and this person will enable, encourage, and lead a strong culture of safety for our growing employee base. The Safety and Compliance Manager will work closely with Operations and our Leadership team to champion all aspects of the organization’s safety and compliance policies. The ideal candidate has a strong working-knowledge of safety and compliance protocols and the desire to create and update policies and procedures while keeping the company up-to-date on best practices in our industry.


  • Oversee and improve our current safety program
  • Stay up-to-date with changing safety laws (OSHA)
  • Serve as expert on Federal, State, and local laws
  • Track employee safety and development training
  • Learn and execute compliance standards for unique assignments
  • Become a certified trainer in specific areas to train other employees (I.E. Lift training)
  • Perform site visits and safety audits
  • Manage company HazComm and MSDS
  • Refine organization’s accident reporting and investigation procedures
  • Oversee fleet management
  • Ensure that organization implements Safety and Compliance best practices, permeating all aspects of corporate culture
  • Achieve high standards of Safety and Compliance standards


  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally to jobsites and walk long distances while performing site visits
  • Desire to work within a diverse and highly collaborative environment
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards and industry standard safety practices
  • High school diploma
  • College degree preferred
  • 3+ years of applicable Safety and Compliance experience preferred
